This came to mind when I was at my Aqua class on Saturday morning. The ways we all used to wants to be competitive, we were striving for so many things.

In the early 80’s I was working in two jobs, all day in the National Westminster Bank PLC and then in the evening working in the local theatre.

Everyone trying to obtain possessions. Racking up lots of debt.

All the possessions bought on credit are having their toll these days. Interest rates rising and the cost of living going sky high.
