The Funeral

Today I attended the funeral of one of our town’s most respected gentlemen.

I was privileged to go as I was invited to sing along with three other women that also regularly sing in our church’s Music Ministry.

Before the service began, I spoke to God in my mind to ask him to give me again that special anointing that I received when I gave my life to him and had the water baptism by full immersion and was “Born Again” in 2004. I need it in my life and work to cope with situations where I have to be supportive and not to judge……,,

The first hymn – I Vow To Thee, My Country.

“I vow to thee, my country, all earthly things above. Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love.

The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test.

That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best. The love that never falters, the love that pays the price.

The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice.

And there’s another country I’ve heard of long ago. Most dear to them that love her, most great to them that know; We may not count her armies, we may not see her King.

Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering.

And soul by soul and silently her shining bound increase .

And her ways are ways of gentleness and all her paths are peace.

I’m a soprano, when I start singing the presence of God comes down on me and I start tingling, so have to sway and hope no one notices my tingling. I thank God again in my mind for his presence and the gift of the voice and being able to hit those high notes and be heard above the organ. Also, now feeling refreshed and able to cope with what I’ve been called to do in my working life!

The service was very moving, I felt empathy for the family who are my friends that paid tribute to Barry’s life….

I felt a tear in the corner of my eye when she mentioned footsteps to illustrate his service in our community and how everyone will miss him.

Barry went to be with the Lord. He is home now.

In my mind at the beginning to ask again for my life the gift of God’s anointing to give me the incite to pray for people who are ill. There seems so many people suffering in my midst, as I write this a friend has gone to London to receive treatment for Cancer. Two other friends are suffering with dizziness and blood pressure which seems to be related to Covid.

Others have ongoing Mental Health needs. Other’s who this year have also lost loved ones dear to them.

I start each day with prayer to God to intercede for them.

Back to remembering the other two hymns that are my favourites “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art.”

Barry also had a heart for the lost and supported the mission The Matthew 25 Mission.

Matthew 25 v 35-36

We ain’t trying to keep up with the Jones’s no more….

#KeepingupwiththeJoneses.

This came to mind when I was at my Aqua class on Saturday morning. The ways we all used to wants to be competitive, we were striving for so many things.

In the early 80’s I was working in two jobs, all day in the National Westminster Bank PLC and then in the evening working in the local theatre.

I never knew there was a song written about this! You can find the lyrics on lyrics.com.

Everyone trying to obtain possessions. Racking up lots of debt.

All the possessions bought on credit are having their toll these days. Interest rates rising and the cost of living going sky high.

There is the option to either spend less, or find a way to earn more.

I’ve found a way to earn more – email me for more details Stella@dailyramblingsofaprofessionalnetworker.com

Running On Empty

Refresh your Spirit, Body & Soul!

This week I nearly ran out of diesel in my car, the fuel gauge has been stuck for a while and I knew I should go and fill up the car with diesel as I’d been back and forth to work and locally. Lucky, the warning beep came on to make me go and fill up.

We can find ourselves running on empty if we don’t pay attention to our spiritual lives.

As part of my self discipline I read several daily Bible plans on the Bible app daily before I leave the house or get up. Nicky Gumble, Joyce Meyer and then a topic based plan to help me grow my faith. Reads the topics with a godly friend that I feel is bringing me closer to God and my calling and fostering brotherly love in Christ. #christianfriendship

Have you ever heard anyone say “The Body Is The Temple of The Holy Spirit?

I can easily walk my 30 minutes to maintain fitness when I am working in Lewes but on the days I work from home it would be tempting to stay in and not go out. Thankfully I am blessed with the gift of a health club membership from a family member. Recently, I’ve got up earlier and had an early morning swim before I start my day.

There is a spa there too which is so rejuvenating.

Then I try and consume nutritional food and recently took up a subscription with Live Good and have been take Magnesium tablets which have helped me sleep better. I have also been having a Protein Shake, then a boiled egg and piece of toast (sour dough) for breakfast .

Last week I had a flare up with pain my stomach which resulted in sickness so I am trying to be careful with what I eat and drink now.

I’m planning to buy the Organic Coffee this month.

We have different types of coffee in our house, Lor being my favourite but it is quite pricey really and the Organic Coffee comes in a large container .

Skin wise I use Tropic which is made from Fruit & Vegetables. Such as life, I’ve always had sensitive skin and as an Empath I am sensitive in my heart and soul too. Though I get my guidance from the Holy Spirit not other divinations as some Empaths seem to.

This spiritual gift I’ve inherited from my father who past away at the young age of 67.

He didn’t have the spiritual covering that I have now.

Are You Exploring A New Direction for 2023 – 😜

2020 – 2022 have been challenging years for all of us, but in every adversity lies the seed of an equal or greater opportunity.

We may feel depleted, emotional and overwhelmed by events which can make us feel we want to retract and do nothing. But it is important to join forces with others, seek God in prayer and push forward.

We know we must keep moving forward and remain positive and expect life to go better for us. When we remain positive and have inner conviction new doors open up.

My passion is Entrepreneurialism, encouraging and supporting others to reach their potential.

Do these attributes resonate with you?

I am aspiring on a daily bases to develop these characteristics.

Makes ethical and principle-centered decisions. …
Puts people first: Shows care and concern. …
Skilled communicator: Listens earnestly & speaks effectively. …
Compassionate collaborator: …
Has foresight: …
Systems thinker: …
Leads with moral authority.
Integrity.

Juggling life with family, maintaining a prayer life, bible study and belief in myself and what I could achieve.

” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” .

My journey as an Entrepreneur had some challenges, striving to be seen as a expert online with Social Media Marketing and earning an income to put food on the table. Only 24 hours in the day. Most of the work offered was commission only, Affiliate Marketing drained my resources, the remunerations were too low.

Network-Marketing consists of building a network of people subscribing to a service. When the network buy their service, we get paid a percentage and earn bonuses. This is called leveraging and gives a residual income.

Great news for inspiring Entrepreneurial people who are interested to start their own business, follow a proven system and receive mentoring and support from others who have made themselves successful. Part of which Leadership skills are offered to help you get with your limiting beliefs within yourself and learn how to deal with objections.

Beginning November

Autumn is a good time for reflection and recuperation and live life at a slower pace when you can after work in the evenings and weekends.

I’m grateful for the Hybrid working pattern, now it’s 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.

Love the drive in the countryside to work. This week it’s been dangerous with torrential rain, trees fallen down, flooded roads making traffic jams and sadly accidents. 😩

My town was gridlocked with traffic jams and flooded streets. Had to give going to the Health Club a miss in the week but thankfully got there today for Aqua Fit. While I was in the car I went shopping.

A friend went into hospital so no Wednesday Fellowship Group this week. Nice to have the night in 😜.

Dark evenings – the season of winter. I am grateful for the chance to slow the pace. Cost of living rises is a contribution to this. But since Covid doing less has been beneficial. Even when I met up with a friend who lives locally we spent a lot of time staying local, eating in and watching films at home. It has been lovely. ❤️

You can enjoy your life without spending lots of money.

Everyone is feeling the changes in our cost of living making everything so expensive.

My favourite band – http://www.the-big-blue.com/listings.html Been a follower since 2012. Going to see them play in various locations in East Sussex. I keep this as a commitment at least once a month.

I am quite good with money. I buy my food and snacks for work from the supermarket. Take sandwiches every day.

Other things I buy via subscription on Amazon – heavy goods like the cat food gets 15% off when ordered with 4 other items and is delivered too.

I understand the philosophy of paying by cash and locally – great for non chain businesses but some items these days are really hard to get hold of in the local store

For example bereavement/sympathy cards, can never buy them locally any more.

Got invited to opportunities to make addition income. Have a few meetings to listen in on this weekend.

I am just going to cook a small roast pork joint for myself to eat Will be ok for tomorrow too. Managed to buy some parsnips. I never think a roast is the same without parsnips. 😜

September

September went fast.

Ultra Challenge Day went well. Met a few new people (women) that enjoyed walking. Discussed doing a similar challenge next year. I said it would need to be flatter, enjoyed the sunshine and got a lot of exercise. My feet survived it. No blisters thankfully.

Week 2 – not so good- thought I had a Gastritis flare up, chemist gave me “Milk of Magnesia” which really seemed to give me a burning sensation in my gut. For a long time, I was unable to eat anything. Just drinking sips of water and lying in bed due to having a fever. Went back to work on the Thursday and found two others had had the same issue.

Week 3 – my long awaited vacation but due to a type of gastric flu not able to venture out too much. Most plans for this week cancelled because of the death of Queen Elisabeth.

In a way I was grateful not to have to go up to London even though I had been looking forward to seeing my Entrepreneurial friends. Not seen them in person since before lockdown/covid. Actually, I’ve not been on a train since before Covid either.

I have just been driving in my car and using the bus. Started my Sussex Gospel Partnership Bible Study Course, one a month for 2 years.

Week 3- On my week off I went to the local health club, went to watch some friends playing in their bands at various venues in Hastings.

Week 4 – Then I was fortunate to be able to work from home for a few weeks.

Discovered I had lost 10kilos. Now I can wear my super dry jacket again.

Keen to keep up the fitness regime. Making sure I actively walk or go to the gym weekly to walk on the treadmill.

#NewYearNewMe #2022

I signed up with Seacret in 2020

Finally, went on the trip of a lifetime – beautiful Dominican Republic in the Punta Cana region.

Wonderful experience, would love to go again. The hotel Luxury Ambar is available to be booked via Club Secret Travel Club!

On the long haul flight of nearly eight hours, gives time for reflection. This lifestyle is wonderful, great service and all your needs taken care of when you travel “Premium”

This lifestyle standard is affordable if you make sacrifices and travel less frequently or sign up for a sustainable programme that gives you benefits and your can earn more money by sharing the concept with others.

My Entrepreneurial pursuits these days are in my “free-time” my side hustle. I now have a full time job too.

My businesses run off the internet – marketing efforts are on the social selling platforms which sync with various devices.

Marketing on the move – leads present themselves via notifications and emails through out the working day and can be followed up in “free-time”

Time to discuss and network – make an appointment to talk to me. Again in my free-time.

Maybe it sounds harsh but necessary to fit all activities in.

Basically it is necessary to respect everyone’s time and network with people that share this ethos.

Looked at various platforms that are encrypted with safety measures .Telegram seems to be a firm favourite, WhatsApp and Zoom for video one to ones. Those on Apple can utilise FACETIME via WiFi. Corporate entities us Microsoft Teams.

This year Seacret have begun to consider distribution to Europe with the Nutritional Products. USA, & Canada has already had the head start with this, also they were able to grow a customer base. Now NFR can benefit from this too – also now people can be customers.

USA, Canada , Columbia & Mexico start on 3 January 2022 to 3 March 2022 with the “Club Fit Challenge”

I wanted to start my “Club Fit Challenge “ this Spring, but have had to put it back to the summer.

Seriously, I haven’t been into physical fitness since my accidents in 2013. Recently joined a local gym and started working up a speed on the treadmill.

My Apple Watch benefits me on a daily basis, records all movement data and this is now shared with my profile on the club’s wellness app.

Fitness app shows a summary -Move – Exercise and Standing. Being told to stand at various inter lies can be a great benefit

My last move goal was doubled in November 2021, then I had my vacation and then Christmas. So beginning to NewYearNewMe is a challenge, but it will be worth it to get fit and stay fit an encourage others to do the same and others looking to earn an additional income can sign up and be part of this world wide international team.

When he came to England he was discovered singing and playing his guitar in restaurants and open mic nights in the south east.

Meanwhile Ria, better know as Maria was finding her own voice playing with a variety of musicians and played one night with Roberto. They enjoyed the experience so much and their voices complimented each other

Within a short space of time they had completed some materials that included some of their favorite songs from the 1960’s to the present day and we know they are yours too.
