No Whales 🐋 in Wales #justsaying

My daughter and I spent a few days staying in Lampeter, Ceredigion, Wales. UK, 4th to 6th April 2023.

They call it glamping – the Shepherd’s hut https://www.linktr.ee/Caemanal It was lovely! See the link above for more pictures and information.

Caemanal

This would be a lovely place to come and stay for longer in warmer weather if peace and quiet is your aim and you love walking.

We went walking in the Eryri National Park and drove for miles down narrow winding roads. Had to stop every so often to open and close gates. Then down what almost seemed like a drop to get back onto the main road.

We walked up a very steep slope. In fact there was a plake there to say someone had died on 6th June 1993. I remember that week, it was the week I got married. It was lovely on the 1st June, but the rest of the week heavy rain so this part of the world this walking area must have been very slippery. You can’t get a signal on your phone up here either.

Steep slope.

Just starting to walk up the steep slope

Coastline was very pretty. We unfortunately had some rain so we didn’t get opportunity to go and do all the National Trust castles that we intended to. Just because the main part of them would be visiting the gardens and not much fun in the rain. But on our way to Wales we did go to Powis Castle.

Beautiful gardens at Powis Castle

We listened on our way there to an Audible story about a teenage girl and her boyfriend that went missing after an evening out.

The Night She Disappeared.

Fortunately, not until the next day did I wake in the morning with stomach ache. At the moment I’m taking one tablet a day but they don’t seem to help all that much. But I hope when I start consuming my Live Good products I will feel better.

Not the greatest thing for me to listen to. As I am an Empath and I feel another person’s pain. As a Mother too I could empathise with the Mother who worried about the whereabouts of her teenage daughter. This, my mobile not working well, not holding the charge and I’d forgotten to bring the cigarette lighter charger kicked off my Gastritis. Well, my friends tell me I’m always on my phone. The reason is I operate my small business from my IPhone and respond daily to notifications and messages . My posts drive Inbound web traffic to my links. I like to be in contact consistently with my friends too.

When I’m feeling off colour I don’t tell anyone, so I never mentioned my discomfort to my daughter and we went out for the day and had meals and enjoyed ourselves and I just suffered in silence.

Towards the end of the day I felt really sick so then I said I’d felt ill all day, Then I was sick and my stomach really hurt at this point. My daughter suggested I took Ibuprofen and paracetamol which did work.

Had a good night’s sleep and then we travelled back home.

Great start to #Monday morning on my Twitter @Stella_Holman that made my day!

I always check on Facebook ,Twitter etc for notifications to follow up with and this morning i was delighted to see a posting published by Social Media Examiner and shared by my colleague Mr Mike Turner @TinDigital about making the most of your #LinkedIn profile.  Well I for one are always interested in making #LinkedIn work better for me as and i love to share posts on my #SocialMedia page IT Personal Coach. After I did this I found out that I had been added to the #list  SMExaminer/most-engaged-followers.  Following on from that I was then added to the list jrtaaffe/socialmedia-people.

My Twitter to be fair needs a bit of tweeking, but with

I’ve been added to quite a few lists and of course I have created some of my own which have worked out to be beneficial to share content to my followers.

Following on from banter on my Twitter ac @Stella_Holman this week…

…I made a new connection in my town who said she had been following me for several weeks and liked the content on what I posted.   Now I have been invited to attend a local networking event on Friday organised by EDEAL in one of our hotels.

Since I have been sharing pictures and events of the group Letz Zep  though out my various Social Media sites I have made lots of new contacts in the Music Industry.  Weirdly enough out of the blue I started to be tagged in the pictures of Letz Zep on Facebook that had been taken by Musikota.Com

The Tribute Band Guns and Roses from Bilbao also seem to be tagged back to me, I think probably my business friends and contacts from church will think I have flipped!!

All this tagging on Facebook has made a vast improvement to my Klout scores which took a noise dive to 59 when I added one of my Facebook pages and took off my personal account.. All this recent activity bought it back to 75 and it has since increased to 76 this week – http://klout.com/#/Stella_Holman.

All about “Giver’s Gain”  I couldn’t achieve this without collaboration from other people.

ROI – Return on Investment then is the people that then get in touch with you about either your services or perhaps in my case how what I do could help them with their own Social Media Marketing.

Good night!
