What is your Passion and Purpose?

My passion and purpose is to be an Entrepreneur and to inspire others to use their gifts.  It all started with the fact that our family history on my Father’s side originates from the Native Sioux Indian, via Grandmother who was in the Entertainments Business with Buffalo Bill‘s Circus

Sioux Indian’s are very spiritual – I have to confess to not knowing that much about them sadly but I do know and understand that they were very Psychic –  and my Father had inherited the gift of PsychometryHe was very good at this and helped a lot of people.  Lots of people came to our home to have a consultation.

I had a really good relationship with my father until my mother and I joined the local Church of England Church and I was confirmed in 1971.  I think following the Christian faith and spiritually it was rather conflicting.  Spiritualism is part of the Occult – Darkness v Light.  after my Confirmation my father and I didn’t get along so well.

I was musical, was involved with singing and I learnt to play the guitar at school, participated in the choir and our school regularly put on concerts and musicals, both at my junior and the secondary school that I attended though being a Christian at school was another conflicting situation, so I didn’t have many friends and when I left school I went straight into Banking.  I worked hard but didn’t get promotion and then was introduced to a job at the local theatre setting up the drinks in the interval.  For seven years I used to work over 60 hours a week, in the Bank during the day and at the Theatre in the evenings.

In my early twenties I was re-united with my school friend who had chosen to go into the Hairdressing profession and she led me into Network Marketing,  while I was out and about in the evening with Party Planning I met my future husband,

From time to time I had gone along and had the occasional Tarot card reading, which strangely enough from time to time was quite accurate and just before I was due to marry I went and had my birth chart drawn up.  Sadly, I lost the information but did remember that I was told not to get married to this person, that we would be in conflict all the time! Well, it was too late to back out and hurt a lot of people so we got married in 1993 and had two lovely children, who are now teenagers and a great credit to us both, but sadly our relationship didn’t survive and we divorced in 2002.

SERVANT

When i had my birth-chart drawn up I was also advised that I was going to be a “Servant” “Writer” and also a “Nurse”

Well life being a journey and all these possibilities didn’t seem like they would happen to me at the time.

The years that followed the marriage break-up have been challenging and I have been glad of my involvement with the Church as a solid foundation to build my life on the ROCK of Jesus Christ.  I committed my life to Jesus and became “Born Again” in 1997, my son was born in this year and also my Mother past away.

In my early twenties through to my late thirties I was on the committee for a local social club and had a very active social life also so community building is something I have learnt with recruiting people into the club

When my children were at their junior school  I used to be a leader via the church with their youth club, I undertook this position for seven years. This also led me to go into their school with other church leaders for the “Jesus and Me Club”called “JAM Club”

In 2002 – I went back to college as a mature student and undertook the City and Guilds Diploma in IT ( the link is for info – I studied at Sussex Downs College, Eastbourne) and also changed my church and joined the Christian Outreach Centre Movement and undertook the Spirit, Soul and Body Bible School for two years.                                                                                        Within the Church we undertook the D.I.S.C personality test  and this is where I then understood the concept the Servant and Servant Leadership.

Thankfully due to my working life I have gained the experience to be a good communicator  and I am competent to make decisions.            My Spiritual Gifts give me the discernment to pay attention to what remains unspoken and it is therefore important to listen to my inner voice\affimation from the Holy Spirit.  I can rely on that inner voice in order to understand what the body, mind and spirit are communicating.        I really love technology and I have been willing to follow and learn from the Social Media Experts and Geeks to learn all i can and now my ideal client is someone who is a true Entrepreneur. Combing with my passion for music really gives me the passion to help Musicians though i am willing to extend my services to everyone connected with the Entertainments Industry.    In the past three years I have got involved with the local “Rock Music Community of Bands and Supporters and have made connectiions and new friends via their Community in London and World-wide.

WRITER –

I created this Blog – Daily Ramblings of a Professional Networker

to portray the “Life of Networking” online and offline. A diary of life experiences.   I have had severe writer’s block for the past two years when i started to combine it with “Encouragement and Life Coaching”  I had started to train to be a “Life Coach” but finding the people who wanted a coach and also the people i wanted to coach was a challenge.  This is something i have had to put on hold temporarily for the time being though I pro-actively work as a Personal IT Coach and share articles and write articles that i share as a Social Media Expert.

NURSE

I am about to embark on a course to train to be a Carer in the Community.  I will be looking after people that rely on someone to come in and help them to remain independant by staying in their own homes.   I will be doing this on a part time basis so i can also continue with my passion and purpose as an Entrepreneur to network with those that have the heart-felt motivation to inspire others to use their Entreprenerial Talents especially in the Entertainments Industry…

Friday I’m in Love

Friday I’m in Love – was a blog I wrote last year that explained about my love for networking and going out and meeting other Entrepreneurs.  The event I wrote about was at the Business Franchise Exhibition at the ExCeL London Exhibition and Convention Centre, where I was allocated to chair a mock-up for a Boardroom in alliance with the Ecademy Business Network

Last Friday I went to a local free networking event to meet up with someone I made contact with on Twitter who advised me that she has been following my Tweets for a few weeks and had read my recently blog and identified with my situation.

We identified the strengths and weaknesses that we both come across in our daily work and agreed to see if we could collaborate to form an alliance.

Now I will be putting together a proposal for her to view to make plans to move ahead.

Why do we allow our thoughts to give us limitations? (1)

The fear of loss is a motivating factor if it can propel you in to action, .however you may in the beginning be paralysed with negative thoughts that stop you changing your mindset and doing things differently…

Life is very challenging for me at present and also I can empathise with those near and dear to me that are also finding that they have challenges to overcome.

We had an interesting morning in our church on Sunday, Pastors Ashley and Ruth Schmierer were our guest speakers. Ps Ashley was talking about how he had been limited as a child by the negative comments his teachers had made about him. That he was the clown in the class and that they didn’t think he would amount to anything. He is now the COC International President.

Ps Ashley, was speaking about how we allow our thoughts to give us limitations on what we can achieve in our lives.

For those of us that have a FAITH /Christianity is about having a relationship with Jesus via prayer, praise and reading the Bible, those that have given their life to him and invited the Holy Spirit to live in them then can understand the scriptures and the power in them to transform lives. It is also important to have Christian fellowship, always there will be people in the body of Christ that you don’t see eye to eye with, but you can also find people that you do get along with and these people will inspire and encourage you in you daily walk and you can do the same for them. I have found FACEBOOK really powerful for this and daily connect and share content with my fellow Christian connections all over the world.

In our every day lives we have to get along with people that have no faith at all and we do our best to get along with them as we care about them as they are our friends.

In the case of the work place we find that we have to adhere to the thoughts and intentions of those of whom do not follow the same mindset. This is where the root of negative thinking starts to rise… Other people’s perspectives start to cloud our thinking.

In the case of the working environment you might have to follow the plan and purpose for someone else’s business…, you might well find yourself in the same situation that happened to me that someone used a rather calculated method to gain my attention and support.

Have you heard about the Chameleon in the Office scenario?

Do read the interesting blog written by my colleague- Blackstar Sharon Egan – I actually I winced when I first read it  –The third paragraph down was in fact the very thing that snared me– “So, when with you, they’ll mirror your beliefs, your values, your attitudes… and, because of that, create fantastic rapport with you. You’d think they were your best buddy..-Apparently, this is a ploy taught in sales and in particular network-marketing.   Of course in my case – I am a “Connector” sitting on a rather a large database of names which is appealing to people that are building lists of people to contact.

My personality in business is Servant Leadership- with the main concern of helping someone else to achieve their purpose and goals…I align myself to the people with the same mindset…

Coming back to the shared mindset and what would actually attract you to work with someone to see that their goal to earn a living happened and what would you feel like when the truth dawned on you that their why had changed so much that you had that gut feeling that now life was treating them so well (not through their own efforts might I add) the initial effort that they seemed to put in currently was none existent…   I can remember when I first got started first words given to me were we are here to build the network and forget about the product.

Leadership requires patience and perseverance; I also think that to really take heed and respect the circumstances of others is important.  I think back now and wonder why did I align myself up with people that really didn’t care at all about the plans and purposes of others, why did I get swept away with the dream that this was going to be the way forward for me….

There are however, people in this business who are doing exceedingly well and are making the money that gives them the lifestyle that is promised, those with a true heart of a team spirit.

In the very beginning I know I was on to a winner as the money came through as a result of prayer and it all worked well for the first six months or so, then people that joined the team all dropped away and those that are left are not in it to build the team, just there for the enjoyment of the product.  Fundamentally, core values of a Servant Leadership – not just about looking after yourself but about looking after other people.    Therefore encouraging people that have no surplus income over and above existing expenses to overspend is immoral.  Also, coming back to the beginning regarding negative comments building a team based on “Trusting relationships as the foundation for collaboration and service, affirming that all relationships should be based on trust and mutual respect, not power, status or coercion. Coercion – (like a form of bullying, threats or
intimidation.)

Taking all of these circumstances into consideration I now realise why that breakthrough that I really needed to happen hasn’t…..

‘If you would go every day to a very large tree and take five swings at it with a very sharp axe, eventually, no matter how large the tree, it would have to come down!!!

Basically, it is the same with Network-Marketing, in this case the FREE DREAM_TRIP you offer people the chance to have a free vacation, all they need to do is register and watch this movie   – http://connector.windreamtrips.com  Some people you ask won’t bother as they don’t believe you when you tell them there is no catch.  Some people start watching the movie and when they see what it speaks about they give up half-way through so they then don’t activate the email that states they have watched the movie, so they don’t get in to the draw.  Some people say point blank they don’t want the opportunity.   Some of the people that actually watch the movie, may see and understand the opportunity and know it is for them, these are the people that I will work with.  Well to find these people it is almost like looking for a needle in a Haystack.  It wasn’t until I got involved with this business that I began to see how many negative and unmotivated people there were around, my own friends and relatives included!

Well, it is a numbers game to find those few people you need to ask just about everyone you come in contact with.  So basically, you are back to this trust element – would people you have never spoken to before actually believe that out of the blue a total stranger would be offering them an opportunity to have a free vacation, no strings attracted!   Sounds wildly unlikely doesn’t it  – though in this case it is true as I am sure that if I persevere with my dream to achieve the living  and a better lifestyle I will find other people who want to have the same.

I was taught a number of years back that the plan in a Christian’s walk was to be blessed so that in turn I would be able to give and bless others.  Recently, someone sneered that it was a bad suggestion to be wealthy, but in fact the aim to be wealthy is to be in the position to give back to the community

. A wise man once said, ‘Effort only releases its reward after a person refuses to quit.’

Today, here and now I do not have a lot of money, I have a small income coming in every week but that is not enough to pay all my bills and move towards my dreams.  However, I keep positive thoughts and continue to strive forward to meet the challenges and believe that the resources will be available to me when I need them.

Life is that journey and only when we are in the right place, opportunities, resources and the people we need to make it happen will be available to us.   With my World Ventures business – it is people and not money that are the resources that I need to build the team and network of people that will give me the residual income.  Due to the Binary plan – and two team legs, I just need 30 people more and I will be a Senior Representative.   Basically, I need six people with the same mindset as me that can then bring six more people into this business team and then we have our 30 people, I may even win BMW.

Vision doesn’t follow resources, it happens the other way around. First we have a dream, then we have to move forward. Then-and only then-do people and resources follow. Then the plan God has given to us begins to fall into place. A wise man once said, ‘Effort only releases its reward after a person refuses to quit.’ People who succeed ‘see’ what others don’t. It’s what keeps them moving forward. ‘It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible.’

Combine your passions with your skill – Explore and Nurture your Entrepreneurial Gifts

I am combining networking to find people that might need some Coaching/Business Mentoring to help them to move them forward in their lives.  There maybe people who feel that their life is at a cross-roads.  They may have had a demanding job that due to the current financial climate has come to an end and now they are unsure which way to go.

These days there are a considerable amount of young people around that have a passion and skill that needs to be nurtured and encouraged, so that that person can explore their own gifting and go on to set up their own business.

Another example would be people that have reached middle age, have had a divorce or have been made redundant who maybe interested in turning their hobby into a business venture.

People that have proven Leadership Skills maybe interested to utilize them and get involved with a Network-Marketing Opportunity.

A Coach will endeavour to help the person to find out what they need to be doing and then help that person find ways to achieve it.

 All in the Process

  • Building a relationship
  • Clarifying Goals.
  • Brainstorming plans.
  • Trying out the Plans
  • Celebrating the successes.

Understanding who you are as a person and who you would like to be…

Coaching will aid you to move forwarded and be the best you can ever be.

There may be the need to make certain changes in your life.

Self –belief is needed – from a Christian point of view – all you need is the faith of a mustard seed and you can move mountains.   Keep your speech positive, surround yourself with people who encourage and someone to help you to move forward and help you to overcome the obstacles in your way…help you to find new solutions to your problems.

Help you to discover the ideas that are already inside your head.

The Coaching relationship is defined as a relationship – in which we would build trust, offer support and understanding.

A Heartfelt Attitude of Thankfulness is Necessary to Overcome Day-to-Day Challenges

In order to recover at a physical or emotional level I need to maintain my spiritual level.’

Daily prayer and a heartfelt attitude of thankfulness is a necessity to keep in God’s presence and draw my strength from Him enabling me to be equal to the challenges I  face on any given day.

Spiritual roots capable of drawing in the ways and strength of the Lord give potential for success.

A daily mindset is to believe in my own potential, make plans and set achievable goals to undertake each week.

I am involved in a few different industrial sectors and in order to make them all income related streams I need to be active in all of them on a weekly basis.

The beginning of the year is like a new page, a new start in life.  I have briefly looked back and reflect on my past endeavors and decide to do better this year.

Ending last year I started to write about my daily strategy. http://dailyramblingsofanetworkingpro.blogspot.com/  On a working basis it is important to me to demonstrate my ability to be visible on the Internet as this is my main core service that I offer to my clientele – “Have to Walk the Talk” fortunately last year I undertook some work in my sector that gave me some additional training that I am now able to apply to my own marketing endeavors and this is helping me to create a product that I can sell to my new clients.

Monday

Doing what you love and love what you do.

I love socialising and meeting people.  Coming from a background as an only child and quite a shy one also, I was constantly pushed into situations where I had to go and do a lot of things on my own.  Though, in my working life, I had opportunity to change and as my first job was in the Bank and on the counter as a Cashier, I developed and acquired the confidence to speak to people from all walks of life and also over a period of time was comfortable speaking to almost anyone.

I was introduced to Network-Marketing at the age of 19 years and this birthed the Entrepreneurial Spirit in me, but it wasn’t until I got married and had children that I got the opportunity to leave the Bank and really get started to try and get a small business off the ground.

It was suggested to me that I started with Book-Keeping – I can’t say that it ignited the passion inside me that much, but I did undertake a course, then got started with a few clients when the recession came, most of them lost a lot of their clients and so I looked to do something new.

My love of meeting people especially those in other countries/cultures, led me to be a host family and eventually I did start my own little business around having adults come over to learn Business English, then I went on to be a Accommodation Arranger for an Austria Company and I undertook this for seven year.

Then I got involved with the Internet, when I got started with Internet Marketing everyone laughed and said it was crazy!!

Talking to people from all over the world is actually my passion, building relationships from which I find friends, contacts and people to work with and new projects to undertake.  So I feel I am justified to call myself a Professional Networker.

In this day and age it can be tough to find new business, I can honestly say it isn’t plan sailing for me either, but I just take each day at a time.  Inside me and other people are the hopes and dreams that are nurtured to forfil, actually requires a good deal of courage and the ability to take risks.  Takes a while for you to understand who you are as a person and then connecting to work that you really love.

When I joined Ecademy, it gave me opportunity to meet business people from all over the world then in 2007, I joined Ecademy’s  Blackstar –I felt a bit inferior at that point –    but that was something inside me that I had to work out though.

Wealth Dynamics Profiling– a personality profiling mechanism revealed that I was infact a Trader – I know that I had to create an occupation for myself around this profile and so I created the Virtual Assistant who helps people make contacts, build relationships that could that lead to business referrals and new projects.  I can show others how to develop their business around networking and using Social Media Tools to locate people in their industry/sector.

Blackstar gives you some great role models and mentors – Thomas Power – I can say that I share his enthusiasm for the networking and love for technology.   Thomas was someone that I followed in depth, over all the sites and soon I was making the contacts.  My trip to Denmark made a big impact on my working life, here I got to know my friend Tina Jonasen a bit more and then met Geert Conard.  The following year I was attending events in Belgium organised by Geert and his Belgium Blackstar colleagues.

Then we were all fortunate to go to a seminar and understand about Social Media from Louis Gray.

As I have got so much out of being a member of the Ecademy Community I am passionate about sharing this knowledge as a service to help other people understand how Ecademy could be a useful platform for them – to learn now to network, make contacts and as we do today, share all our Social Media activities through this network.   Advanced technology enables us to share all our activities, even LinkedIn has begun to follow suit.

On a day to day bases it can be quite overwhelming and you need to have a strategy in place.  I was intending to be a Digital Coach. Looking at others who have this role – I can see that for them, it is their passion and they have the flair to do it.  I do continue in my capacity as a Digital Minded Virtual Assistance and offer people services to advise them on how they can be “visible”and also Social Media Designer

Earlier on this year I had some Life Coaching sessions, I undertook the D.I.S.C profiling test and this revealed to me that my plan and purpose was in fact to support other people who needed to be encouraged to step out in faith and pursue self-employment, there are also people who are at a cross-roads in life that need support and encouragement to meet new goals.

I am starting in January 2012 my training to be a Life Coach and help others explore the question of who they really are and connect to work that they truly love – in doing so will be productive and unleash creative power.

Love what you do and you will be able to engage your heart in it.  My passion for travel and meeting the different people from various cultures led me back into networking marketing – World Ventures is a wonderful opportunity for people that love to travel and also need a new direction in their life.  Initial investment is small to get started.  I got my initial investment back within the first six months, but it is possible to do this in the first 30 days if you commit to following the training that is offered and focus.

There are events organised every week so you can meet up with other people and also you can participate online, which is what I do for most of the time which keep you engaged in the business. For more information read…
