It’s Here – The Lifestyle Upgrade

Together we can achieve more.!!

I love working remotely and have done so on and off since 1993.  I found it very beneficial while bringing up my two children who are now adults.

I enjoyed working from home and being available to go to the school and joining in with their outings, helping with lunchtime clubs and afterschool clubs. My work fitted in between.

I had learnt some online skills and was able to find small business enterprises, here in the UK and globally who were offering similar services.]

Working globally via an internet connection gave me opportunities, At local business clubs I was offering #OnlineMarketing it was new, people didn’t think it would take off and now it’s a popular skill to learn and receive tangible results.

While working #freelancer I was part of the remote team for the online business club #Ecademy. Through #Ecademy I joined their premium membership #Blackstar and was able to attend workshops and learnt the benefits of networking which evolved my business skills and I was able to create a service to offer other people  > Social Media support/creating and social selling.

We undertook several profiling assessments with view to improve teamwork and networking.

I love travel and meeting other people from different cultures and in 2012 I joined a Travel and Lifestyle club. The opportunity to travel, meet other like-minded people and I was particularly drawn to their self development programme because the church I was involved with also enlightened me to the fact I was “Born for More”

Thanks to the leadership of Marc Accetta via Marc Accetta seminars I am on a journey to develop a positive mindset and this is leading to an opportunity to  have a Life Style Upgrade

Not to sink and feel like our glass is half empty, but to realise it is half full and rising because we have made the decision to believe that thanks to this opportunity and the people we share it with team effort will create us a good living and have the life we have always wanted and the assets we thought we could never afford.

What is your Passion and Purpose?

My passion and purpose is to be an Entrepreneur and to inspire others to use their gifts.  It all started with the fact that our family history on my Father’s side originates from the Native Sioux Indian, via Grandmother who was in the Entertainments Business with Buffalo Bill‘s Circus

Sioux Indian’s are very spiritual – I have to confess to not knowing that much about them sadly but I do know and understand that they were very Psychic –  and my Father had inherited the gift of PsychometryHe was very good at this and helped a lot of people.  Lots of people came to our home to have a consultation.

I had a really good relationship with my father until my mother and I joined the local Church of England Church and I was confirmed in 1971.  I think following the Christian faith and spiritually it was rather conflicting.  Spiritualism is part of the Occult – Darkness v Light.  after my Confirmation my father and I didn’t get along so well.

I was musical, was involved with singing and I learnt to play the guitar at school, participated in the choir and our school regularly put on concerts and musicals, both at my junior and the secondary school that I attended though being a Christian at school was another conflicting situation, so I didn’t have many friends and when I left school I went straight into Banking.  I worked hard but didn’t get promotion and then was introduced to a job at the local theatre setting up the drinks in the interval.  For seven years I used to work over 60 hours a week, in the Bank during the day and at the Theatre in the evenings.

In my early twenties I was re-united with my school friend who had chosen to go into the Hairdressing profession and she led me into Network Marketing,  while I was out and about in the evening with Party Planning I met my future husband,

From time to time I had gone along and had the occasional Tarot card reading, which strangely enough from time to time was quite accurate and just before I was due to marry I went and had my birth chart drawn up.  Sadly, I lost the information but did remember that I was told not to get married to this person, that we would be in conflict all the time! Well, it was too late to back out and hurt a lot of people so we got married in 1993 and had two lovely children, who are now teenagers and a great credit to us both, but sadly our relationship didn’t survive and we divorced in 2002.

SERVANT

When i had my birth-chart drawn up I was also advised that I was going to be a “Servant” “Writer” and also a “Nurse”

Well life being a journey and all these possibilities didn’t seem like they would happen to me at the time.

The years that followed the marriage break-up have been challenging and I have been glad of my involvement with the Church as a solid foundation to build my life on the ROCK of Jesus Christ.  I committed my life to Jesus and became “Born Again” in 1997, my son was born in this year and also my Mother past away.

In my early twenties through to my late thirties I was on the committee for a local social club and had a very active social life also so community building is something I have learnt with recruiting people into the club

When my children were at their junior school  I used to be a leader via the church with their youth club, I undertook this position for seven years. This also led me to go into their school with other church leaders for the “Jesus and Me Club”called “JAM Club”

In 2002 – I went back to college as a mature student and undertook the City and Guilds Diploma in IT ( the link is for info – I studied at Sussex Downs College, Eastbourne) and also changed my church and joined the Christian Outreach Centre Movement and undertook the Spirit, Soul and Body Bible School for two years.                                                                                        Within the Church we undertook the D.I.S.C personality test  and this is where I then understood the concept the Servant and Servant Leadership.

Thankfully due to my working life I have gained the experience to be a good communicator  and I am competent to make decisions.            My Spiritual Gifts give me the discernment to pay attention to what remains unspoken and it is therefore important to listen to my inner voice\affimation from the Holy Spirit.  I can rely on that inner voice in order to understand what the body, mind and spirit are communicating.        I really love technology and I have been willing to follow and learn from the Social Media Experts and Geeks to learn all i can and now my ideal client is someone who is a true Entrepreneur. Combing with my passion for music really gives me the passion to help Musicians though i am willing to extend my services to everyone connected with the Entertainments Industry.    In the past three years I have got involved with the local “Rock Music Community of Bands and Supporters and have made connectiions and new friends via their Community in London and World-wide.

WRITER –

I created this Blog – Daily Ramblings of a Professional Networker

to portray the “Life of Networking” online and offline. A diary of life experiences.   I have had severe writer’s block for the past two years when i started to combine it with “Encouragement and Life Coaching”  I had started to train to be a “Life Coach” but finding the people who wanted a coach and also the people i wanted to coach was a challenge.  This is something i have had to put on hold temporarily for the time being though I pro-actively work as a Personal IT Coach and share articles and write articles that i share as a Social Media Expert.

NURSE

I am about to embark on a course to train to be a Carer in the Community.  I will be looking after people that rely on someone to come in and help them to remain independant by staying in their own homes.   I will be doing this on a part time basis so i can also continue with my passion and purpose as an Entrepreneur to network with those that have the heart-felt motivation to inspire others to use their Entreprenerial Talents especially in the Entertainments Industry…

Wednesday

Work hard and have the right frame of mind and then your hopes and dreams will go according to plan.

My meeting went very well yesterday and we all spoke about the project and how we saw it going forward and were in agreement.   The project being a monthly meeting, created to help the S.M.E’s (small to medium sized enterprises) get advice and support to move their businesses forward and assist with business development.  The meeting to in-corporate a monthly Boardroom intended for the top end of “S.M.E’s” to have a non-executive group of Directors to be committed to helping them with their business endeavours.

Not just for the UK– but internationally to help with business expansion.

This is not just an ordinary meeting, the meeting will consist of ~The Business Game,  a short taster game in the morning and a more intense game in the afternoon with effect from November 2011.   This concept has been considered as a highly effective training and learning tool.  The  meetings  are in a confidential environment, participators have opportunity to bring a problem to the table to get advice and this issue can be inserted into The Business Game , .

For example if your business was making a loss – within the game we would provide challenges to enable you to make decisions at the finance, marketing, production and resourcing issues.  It is hypothetical, it is not your business but you can see how the decisions made within the game would effect the decisions you made with your own business.

The Business Game will provide a competition stimulates experimentation and innovation in a risk-free environment. It’s challenging, absorbing, enlightening.

The next event is on the 2nd Tuesday October 2011 at The Old Thorn’s Manor Hotel, Griggs Green.  £30.00 inc vat.   Please register on this link.

Tuesday

Age is a number on paper, you really don’t need to look at how old you are and then limit what you can and can’t do or achieve.

When I was young – in my twenties I used to think people in their sixties and seventies were old, but in this day and age where people try and look after themselves, keep fit and keep in the fashion by having their hair coloured and styled certain people never lose their attractiveness.  Beauty being only skin deep but what is in the heart reflects out.

In history we have some great people – for example Picasso who produced some of his greatest art pieces at the age of 90.   In the Bible there was Noah who built the ark when he was 500 years old.

It is important to look around you and see what you can achieve and live every moment and life to the fullest.  It is never too late to learn something new, speak out and encourage others also to live life to their full potential.

With regards to work, if you are like me and try and look at the big picture, that is not just looking at your own needs but also looking at those of other people’s and trying to achieve something that could assist others to get ahead.

We might find that our friends of whom we have known for years have stuck by us, but when we try and move ahead to start new ventures or try something new they don’t want to change their strategy and stop agreeing or offering the support we need.  Networking does give us the umbrella and stepping stone to find like-minded people in which you may have a common interest.   One of the main goals in business is of course to make some money, change your strategy and collaboration with new people may well be the key to get ahead.

In the Bible Proverbs 13.20 says “He who walks with wise men will be wise.”

When you make contact with people and share a concept or idea you have support to get things started and ongoing support and guidance to make it happen.  If you all share the objective and are 100% behind the project you are going to make it happen, then with constant encouragement the project will be achieved.

Today, I am off to Liphook in Hampshire to meet with a couple of my Blackstar colleagues, quite a drive for me but we are going to check out a venue that we intend to use for future events.

We have a project in mind and we know that we come to the table and bring our various strengths and also our weaknesses that we can discuss and get help with.

Monday I managed to write an entry in this blog and also share what happened with my other WordPress Blog on Ecademy  –

I had to follow my own Blog and comment on the comments posted, though sometimes with other people’s blogs I just don’t follow them due to the sheer volume of comments that result in emails to my email.

In order to raise my Klout score I have tried to initiate chat between people I have connected to.  This is working out well with people and so my score has raised a fraction and people are starting to follow me.   I know this is the case as I thanked someone for following me on my Slideshare Account  and then got quite a few other people following.   Actually, Slideshare syncs with Facebook which is handy should you be creating presentations that you want to share with a vast number of people.

I also joined a new network called “CommonRed” which is in Beta, I just connected with Tina Jonasen and the person who has created the network and this morning I have about 12 people on my contacts list and also an invitation to join someone’s Boardroom.   Well it is exciting what happens while you are asleep;-)

I sync this blog to Twitter and LinkedIn so of course it was posted there on my profile. Quite a few people must have read it as I had over 350 invites to connect.  As I write to each and every one it is slow for people to get accepted.  People with silly masks on who haven’t taken the time to create their profile or have a business name and don’t write a note to let me know who they are I ignore and archive.
