Nobody is coming to save youโฆ so what do you do? ๐ค
Good. Thatโs the right question.
If nobody is coming to save you, then you stop waiting.
You stop waiting for motivation.
You stop waiting for permission.
You stop waiting for the โright time.โ
And you build.
Hereโs what that actually looks like in practice:
First, you take radical ownership. Not blameโownership. Your situation may not be your fault. But it is your responsibility. That shift alone puts power back in your hands.
Second, you shrink the battlefield. When people feel stuck, they think too big. โFix my life.โ Thatโs vague and paralysing. Instead:
โข What can I improve in the next 24 hours?
โข What skill can I build this week?
โข What habit can I clean up starting today?
Third, you become your own rescuer. That means doing boring, consistent things:
โข Sleep properly.
โข Train your body.
โข Read instead of scroll.
โข Learn something marketable.
โข Track your money.
โข Keep promises to yourself.
Nobody is coming to magically hand you discipline. You build it one uncomfortable action at a time.
Fourth, you upgrade your environment. If youโre surrounded by people who complain, drift, and settleโyou will too. Change rooms. Change inputs. Change conversations. Thatโs not arrogance; itโs strategy.
And finally, you accept this truth: itโs not supposed to feel heroic. Most days it feels repetitive. Quiet. Unnoticed. Thatโs fine. Progress rarely looks dramatic.
Hereโs the uncomfortable part: waiting feels safer than acting.
Waiting protects your ego. Acting risks failure. But action is the only thing that changes your trajectory.
So if nobody is coming to save you?
Good. That means the pen is in your hand.
Now let me ask you something real:
Whatโs the one area of your life right now where you know youโve been waiting instead of moving?
Gravitate towards others who stay calm when met with friction. When you stay composed you stay in control. Calm isnโt passivity itโs precision under pressure.
Power may also be assumed to be action, but real power is what you resist.
Anyone can retaliate, but the person that sees the whole picture not the next move wins over time.
When you step up and trust your values more than your emotions. Resisting the temptation to lower your standards!
Power begins in the daily routine, the way you prepare, plan and show up on days when motivation doesnโt exist.
Daily discipline frees you from being tossed around by every demand, mood or distraction..
A strong person doesnโt fight to be seen or beg to be heard, nor do they demand your attention or try to convince you of their value as they know their worth and wonโt compete for your respect, they will stop showing up for you when they realise that their standards are dismissed and they have shown loyalty and not people been valued.
Now life begins to align around the boundary you finally had the courage to enforce.
Protect your peace, as this affects your tone, clarity and creativity. So silence the noise, say no without guilt and step away with grace.
Iโve made a few mistakes, Iโve upset people with my decisions which havenโt aligned with theirs. But, I do not want to be controlled by other peopleโs viewpoints unless I am in agreement.
In 2025 I disappeared myself for a bit. It was out of choice, I was diagnosed with Glaucoma and I had to go and have emergency eye surgery to save my eye sight. Then, I had a long period of time waiting for my eyes to recover so I could go back to the opticians to get new glasses. In this time I was unable to drive. Thankfully, there were offers from friends to take me to the hospital which was 20 miles away. On one occasion I did go by train and walked quite a distance which was a little distressing as I couldnโt see all that well.
During this time at home I kept occupied by my entrepreneurial pursuits. I was able to listen to trainings and join in with a few zoom calls so I didnโt feel so isolated being at home on my own. I was blessed to have a gorgeous summer and venture out locally to sit on the seafront
Sadly, a friend I had known for many years had a breakdown, followed by a heart attack which brought on early dementia, this resulted in him having to be sectioned and omitted into psychiatric care. This has been a shock to me as he was part of my social circle for 35 years. I went to see him a couple of time and heard yesterday they have finally found a care home for him to stay in which will be easier for his family to reach by bus.
A number of Blackstar networking collegues past away!
Glad I made the effort to have a 121 with Andrew Widgery down at the Waitrose Cafe in Chichester in 2024. Wonderful to hear him speak about his love for his family and gratefulness that his girls had all found wonderful men to partner up and expressing his joy for the new grandson and another one on the way. He told me that he had received treatment and that drug was destroying his cancer lesions and his words to me were that he had been given extra time to love his family and all the special people in his life. Though sadly, not as much time as we were all hoping because Andrew past away on 27.7.24.
Very sad as he was โkicking cancerโ ticking more things of his bucket listโฆ.
Then on 23 July 2025, we lost Maurice Watts, I regrettably was unable to join in with the โChez Maurice-Marketing zooms as I was working, nor get to meet him or travel to visit him in hospital as it was too far away.
Maurice was a good friend to me during the Blackstar Ecademy days. Gave me some marketing mentoring, shared knowledge and helped me navigate by way back to the tube stations after our networking eventsโฆ
Mick Say past away on the cliff tops while out walking with his wife and friends on 25 November 2025, apparently he slipped and banged his head but never regained consciousness.
He loved technology, I did some freelance work for him when we were all trying to create data using Klout, Rise and the game Empire Avenue. He also lately was sharing his accomplishments on #strava.
It seems the right time to write this, the end of 2024. But in fact it was on 25 October 2024, that I left the property I had been renting with my daughter for the past seven years.
We had discussed this for sometime, but I hadnโt intended to move from the area myself. But then I felt convicted that as she had a higher income than I, it made more sense for her to stay there and for me to move into something smaller.
Moving to rent another home is a daunting experience, due to there being so many rogue landlords and shysters around. Weโve experienced a few, but I knew the currently landlord had been very gracious to us and the property management company are dependable so I was leaving my daughter in safe hands.
We looked around for a while and the home I found, was quite unique in that even though I am in between two other flats, it is classed as โdetachedโ in that on my floor it isnโt next to anyone. The landlord, I felt was reputable and the managing agents, manage the building quite well. They told me that there is a low turnover of people leaving, the residents here have been here for quite a few years.
I am blessed to have a separate kitchen, cloakroom and a walk in shower. Just all been refurbished, so new and clean. A bit of a novelty to have a back door too, leading out to my car. Be good in the summer months to be able to have the door open for fresh air.
Iโm slowly adjusting to living by myself after living with family for over thirty years.
Iโm living in an area that is fairly safe to walk in the evenings and itโs quiet. Have a space to park my car which is a real bonus.
Lightening Fibre was already installed, so just had to get it switched on. I need that for my day job, Software requires a fast connection and telephone line is on a network also.
If I had wanted Sky there is a dish, but these days I am just watching tv by streaming from my mobile phone. I donโt have the latest tv i.e a smart tv but thankfully I have one and it works well. Again the Lightening Fibre helps this to work well.
I went back to Utility Warehouse for my electricity. Iโve been a distributor for 14 years and and we did switch away from this service for a short time, but I could see this was a mistake as their prices are the cheapest and the method of paying and spreading the cost over the year is something that is going to benefit me to pay a lower payment. The house insurance, electricity and SIM card will give me a lower price on my electricity. There is no gas! I donโt mind, central heating produces a lot of condensation. I donโt want the rooms to get damp and mouldy. I do have the heating on to keep the rooms at a warm temperature and as the flat is small it heats up quickly with the fan heater.

A burning desire to create, innovate, and ignite.
With every idea, a spark of inspiration,
Fueling the fire of determination.
The flame of entrepreneurship burns bright,
Guiding us through challenges, day and night.
It fuels our ambition, our relentless drive,
To build something meaningful, to truly thrive.
But in this fiery journey, we must be aware,
That failure and setbacks may be part of the affair.
Yet, we rise from the ashes, stronger than before,
Learning from mistakes, opening new doors.
In the flame of entrepreneurship, we find our power,
To shape our own destiny, hour by hour.
We take risks, we embrace uncertainty,
For it is in the unknown that we find opportunity.
So let us embrace the passion that burns within,
Harnessing our creativity, letting it begin.
In the world of entrepreneurship, we dare to dream,
To make a difference, to create a lasting gleam.
With every step forward, we light the way,
Inspiring others to join us, to seize the day.
In the flame of entrepreneurship, we find our light,
A journey of passion, courage, and endless might. Together, we can strive for greatness and make a lasting impact. Let’s push ourselves to go beyond the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary. Let’s challenge the status quo and create a community that thrives on innovation and progress.
By actively participating in the story of change, we can shape a better future for ourselves and those around us. Let’s be the catalysts for positive transformation, inspiring others to join us on this journey.
No longer content with mediocrity, let’s set our sights on greatness. Let’s be the change we wish to see in the world and create a community that fosters growth, compassion, and empowerment. Together, we can make a difference and leave a legacy that will be remembered for generations to come.
The experience I went through taught me a valuable lesson that I will never forget. It was a challenging and sometimes painful journey, but it ultimately shaped me into a wiser and more resilient individual.
At first, I resisted the idea of learning from my mistakes. I was stubborn and believed that I knew better. However, life had other plans for me. It presented me with a series of setbacks and failures that forced me to confront my own limitations and shortcomings.
As I stumbled and fell, I began to realise that there was something to be gained from these experiences. I started to pay closer attention to the patterns and behaviors that led to my downfalls. I analyzed my actions and decisions, seeking to understand where I went wrong.
It was not an easy process. It required me to be brutally honest with myself and acknowledge my own flaws. I had to let go of my ego and accept responsibility for my mistakes. This was a humbling experience, but it was also liberating. It allowed me to take control of my own growth and development.
I sought guidance from mentors and sought out resources to expand my knowledge and skills. I read books, attended workshops, and engaged in meaningful conversations with people who had wisdom to share. I realized that learning from others’ experiences could save me from making the same mistakes they had made.
But the most important lesson I learned was the power of perseverance. I discovered that setbacks and failures were not the end of the road, but rather opportunities for growth. I learned to pick myself up, dust myself off, and keep moving forward. I embraced the idea that failure was not a reflection of my worth, but rather a stepping stone towards success.
Through this experience, I learned that learning from my mistakes was not a one-time event, but a lifelong journey. It required me to be open-minded, adaptable, and willing to change. It taught me the importance of self-reflection and continuous improvement.
Now, whenever I face a challenge or make a mistake, I approach it with a different mindset. I see it as an opportunity to learn and grow, rather than a reason to give up. I am grateful for the lessons I have learned and the person I have become as a result.
In conclusion, the experience I went through taught me the invaluable lesson of learning from my mistakes. It taught me to be humble, resilient, and open to growth. It transformed me into a better version of myself and continues to shape my journey towards personal and professional success.
In today’s fast-paced and interconnected world, it is becoming increasingly challenging to maintain a sense of peace and purity within our hearts. The Bible, however, provides us with timeless wisdom on how to guard our hearts and protect our innermost being.
Understanding the Heart:
The heart, as described in the Bible, is not merely the physical organ that pumps blood but refers to the core of our being, encompassing our thoughts, emotions, desires, and will. Proverbs 4:23 advises, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” This verse emphasizes the importance of protecting our hearts as it influences our actions, attitudes, and relationships.
Recognizing the Threats:
To effectively guard our hearts, we must first identify the potential threats that can negatively impact our innermost being. The Bible warns us about various dangers, including negative influences, sinful desires, unhealthy relationships, and worldly distractions. These threats can lead to bitterness, anger, envy, lust, and other destructive emotions that hinder our spiritual growth.
Practical Steps to Guard Your Heart Biblically:
1. Fill your heart with God’s Word: Regularly reading and meditating on the Scriptures helps us align our thoughts and desires with God’s truth. Psalm 119:11 says, “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” By immersing ourselves in God’s Word, we gain wisdom, discernment, and the ability to resist temptation.
2. Cultivate a prayerful life: Prayer is a powerful tool that allows us to communicate with God and seek His guidance, strength, and protection. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us to “not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Through prayer, we invite God into our hearts, allowing Him to guard and transform us from within.
3. Choose your company wisely: Surrounding ourselves with godly influences is crucial in guarding our hearts. Proverbs 13:20 advises, “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.” Associating with those who share our values and encourage spiritual growth helps protect us from negative influences and keeps us accountable.
4. Guard your eyes and ears: In a world filled with visual and auditory temptations, it is essential to be mindful of what we expose ourselves to. Jesus warns in Matthew 6:22-23, “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.” By being selective about the media we consume, the conversations we engage in, and the environments we frequent, we can safeguard our hearts from impurity and negativity.
5. Seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance: The Holy Spirit is our constant companion and guide, empowering us to make wise choices and discern between right and wrong. By surrendering to the Holy Spirit’s leading, we allow Him to transform our hearts and protect us from the snares of the enemy.
Guarding our hearts biblically is not a one-time task but a lifelong commitment. By implementing these practical steps and relying on God’s strength, we can protect our innermost being from the influences that seek to corrupt and distract us. As we guard our hearts, we create space for God’s love, peace, and joy to flourish within us, enabling us to live a life that honours Him and blesses others.
We must not neglect our physical bodies amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life. However, as believers, we are called to honour God with our bodies and recognise them as temples of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible teaches us that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We are created in the image of God, and our bodies serve as vessels for His glory. Therefore, it is essential to value and care for our physical well-being.
2. Balanced Nutrition:
Proper nutrition plays a vital role in maintaining a healthy body. The Bible provides guidance on nourishing our bodies with wholesome foods. In Genesis 1:29, God initially prescribed a plant-based diet for humanity. While dietary practices have evolved over time, the principles of balance, moderation, and gratitude remain relevant. We should strive to consume a variety of nutrient-rich foods, avoiding excessive indulgence or harmful substances.
Earning a Living – Godly Entrepreneurship: Building Businesses with Kingdom Values
Entrepreneurship is a powerful avenue for creativity, innovation, and economic growth. As believers, we have the opportunity to approach entrepreneurship with a godly perspective, aligning our business endeavors with Kingdom values.
Here are practical ways to build businesses that honour God and positively impact society.
1. Seeking God’s Guidance:
The foundation of godly entrepreneurship lies in seeking God’s guidance and aligning our business ventures with His will. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” By seeking God’s wisdom through prayer, studying His Word, and listening to the Holy Spirit’s leading, we can make decisions that align with His purposes and bring glory to His name.
2. Integrity and Ethical Practices:
Integrity is a fundamental aspect of godly entrepreneurship. Proverbs 11:3 states, “The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.” As entrepreneurs, we should prioritize honesty, transparency, and ethical practices in all aspects of our businesses. This includes fair treatment of employees, customers, suppliers, and competitors, as well as responsible financial management.
3. Kingdom Impact:
Godly entrepreneurship goes beyond profit-making; it seeks to make a positive impact on society and advance God’s Kingdom. Matthew 5:16 encourages us, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” By integrating our faith into our business practices, we can create products or services that meet genuine needs, promote social justice, and contribute to the well-being of individuals and communities.
4. Servant Leadership:
Godly entrepreneurship involves adopting a servant leadership mindset. Jesus exemplified this when He said, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45). As entrepreneurs, we should prioritize serving others, whether it be our employees, customers, or the wider community. By valuing and investing in people, we create a positive work environment and foster long-term relationships built on trust and respect.
5. Wise Stewardship:
Entrepreneurs are entrusted with resources, talents, and opportunities. Godly entrepreneurship involves wise stewardship of these blessings. Luke 12:48 reminds us, “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.” By managing our resources responsibly, minimizing waste, and considering the environmental impact of our businesses, we demonstrate good stewardship and care for God’s creation.
6. Balancing Work and Rest:
In the pursuit of entrepreneurial success, it is crucial to maintain a healthy work-life balance. God designed us to rest and find refreshment in Him. By prioritizing rest, observing the Sabbath, and setting boundaries, we prevent burnout and create space for spiritual and personal growth. This balance allows us to approach our businesses with renewed energy, creativity, and a clear focus on God’s priorities.
Conclusion:
Godly entrepreneurship involves seeking God’s guidance, practicing integrity and ethical practices, prioritizing Kingdom impact, embracing servant leadership, practicing wise stewardship, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. By integrating these principles into our entrepreneurial endeavors, we can build businesses that honour God, positively impact society, and contribute to the advancement of His Kingdom. As we align our entrepreneurial pursuits with godly values, we can experience fulfillment, purpose, and the joy of partnering with God in His work of transformation.
โโYou will be there alone – I wonโt be there.โโ
One of things I always remember the Pastor from my other church saying donโt have a โPity Partyโ She also told me not to harbour a victimโs mentality. Itโs good sounds advice!!!
We do have control over our own behaviour and how we act and respond to events and different circumstances.
When you continually think negatively all you do is draw more negativity towards you. Thinking positively and acting that way is a mindset that needs to be cultivated.
What you think about on a daily basis defines how you behave and your daily actions. When you begin to take responsibility for yourself and start setting yourself achievable goals to improve your mental health (mind/soul) physical health (body) spirit (faith, hope, love, character and perseverance)
My daily life begins in the morning with prayers for others and prayers for myself which come from the bible ending with putting on the โArmour of God.โ
Then I read my bible plans. Itโs a daily discipline, I have to wake up earlier to undertake it all before I leave the house, but it leaves me feeling Positive and Motivated for my day ahead.
I continually keep an account of requests to God throughout the day. We forget our dependency on God, but he will transform ordinary days into those filled with Hope and Opportunity.
I recently went away on a trip with my daughter and I asked God to help me not to snore! She said she hardly heard me snoring and it was great to sleep without feeling her elbows between my shoulder blades trying to wake me up. ๐

Network marketing, also known as multi-level marketing (MLM), has its proponents and critics, and whether it becomes a major profession depends on various factors.
We believe these are the important ones to highlight.
. ๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ป๐๐ฟ๐: Network marketing typically requires a relatively low initial investment compared to traditional businesses or professional careers.
๐ฎ. ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐: MLM offers individuals the flexibility to work on their own schedule and from their preferred location.
๐ฏ. ๐๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ: MLM can provide a sense of entrepreneurship as individuals are often responsible for building and managing their own networks.
๐ฐ. ๐ฃ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐: Some individuals have achieved substantial earnings through successful network marketing endeavors.

Every industry is evolving and with more than 7 Billion people on this planet all having access to technology, there are gazillions waiting for an opportunity to be contacted by you or any other distributor.
As with any career or business opportunity, individuals should conduct thorough research, understand the potential risks and rewards, and make informed decisions that align with their personal goals and values. If you feel it’s nothing for you…it probably isn’t.
