2020 – 2022 have been challenging years for all of us, but in every adversity lies the seed of an equal or greater opportunity.

We may feel depleted, emotional and overwhelmed by events which can make us feel we want to retract and do nothing. But it is important to join forces with others, seek God in prayer and push forward.

We know we must keep moving forward and remain positive and expect life to go better for us. When we remain positive and have inner conviction new doors open up.

My passion is Entrepreneurialism, encouraging and supporting others to reach their potential.

My journey as an Entrepreneur had some challenges, striving to be seen as a expert online with Social Media Marketing and earning an income to put food on the table. Only 24 hours in the day. Most of the work offered was commission only, Affiliate Marketing drained my resources, the remunerations were too low.

Network-Marketing consists of building a network of people subscribing to a service. When the network buy their service, we get paid a percentage and earn bonuses. This is called leveraging and gives a residual income.

Great news for inspiring Entrepreneurial people who are interested to start their own business, follow a proven system and receive mentoring and support from others who have made themselves successful. Part of which Leadership skills are offered to help you get with your limiting beliefs within yourself and learn how to deal with objections.

I signed up with Seacret in 2020

Finally, went on the trip of a lifetime – beautiful Dominican Republic in the Punta Cana region.

My Entrepreneurial pursuits these days are in my ā€œfree-timeā€ my side hustle. I now have a full time job too.

My businesses run off the internet – marketing efforts are on the social selling platforms which sync with various devices.

Marketing on the move – leads present themselves via notifications and emails through out the working day and can be followed up in ā€œfree-timeā€

Time to discuss and network – make an appointment to talk to me. Again in my free-time.

Maybe it sounds harsh but necessary to fit all activities in.

Basically it is necessary to respect everyoneā€™s time and network with people that share this ethos.

Looked at various platforms that are encrypted with safety measures .Telegram seems to be a firm favourite, WhatsApp and Zoom for video one to ones. Those on Apple can utilise FACETIME via WiFi. Corporate entities us Microsoft Teams.

This year Seacret have begun to consider distribution to Europe with the Nutritional Products. USA, & Canada has already had the head start with this, also they were able to grow a customer base. Now NFR can benefit from this too – also now people can be customers.

I wanted to start my ā€œClub Fit Challenge ā€œ this Spring, but have had to put it back to the summer.

Seriously, I havenā€™t been into physical fitness since my accidents in 2013. Recently joined a local gym and started working up a speed on the treadmill.

My Apple Watch benefits me on a daily basis, records all movement data and this is now shared with my profile on the clubā€™s wellness app.

Fitness app shows a summary -Move – Exercise and Standing. Being told to stand at various inter lies can be a great benefit

My last move goal was doubled in November 2021, then I had my vacation and then Christmas. So beginning to NewYearNewMe is a challenge, but it will be worth it to get fit and stay fit an encourage others to do the same and others looking to earn an additional income can sign up and be part of this world wide international team.

Together we can achieve more.!!

I love working remotely and have done so on and off since 1993.Ā  I found it very beneficial while bringing up my two children who are now adults.

I enjoyed working from home and being available to go to the school and joining in with their outings, helping with lunchtime clubs and afterschool clubs. My work fitted in between.

I had learnt some online skills and was able to find small business enterprises, here in the UK and globally who were offering similar services.]

Working globally via an internet connection gave me opportunities, At local business clubs I was offering #OnlineMarketing it was new, people didn’t think it would take off and now it’s a popular skill to learn and receive tangible results.

While working #freelancer I was part of the remote team for the online business club #Ecademy. Through #Ecademy I joined their premium membership #Blackstar and was able to attend workshops and learnt the benefits of networking which evolved my business skills and I was able to create a service to offer other peopleĀ  > Social Media support/creating and social selling.

We undertook several profiling assessments with view to improve teamwork and networking.

I love travel and meeting other people from different cultures and inĀ 2012 I joined a Travel and Lifestyle club. The opportunity to travel, meet other like-minded people and I was particularly drawn to their self development programme because the church I was involved with also enlightened me to the fact I was “Born for More”

Thanks to the leadership of Marc Accetta via Marc Accetta seminars I am on a journey to develop a positive mindset and this is leading to an opportunity toĀ Ā have a Life Style UpgradeĀ Ā Ā 

Not to sink and feel like our glass is half empty, but to realise it is half full and rising because we have made the decision to believe that thanks to this opportunity and the people we share it with team effort will create us a good living and have the life we have always wanted and the assets we thought we could never afford.

I always check on Facebook ,Twitter etc for notifications to follow up with and this morning i was delighted to see a posting published by Social Media Examiner and shared by my colleague Mr Mike Turner @TinDigital about making the most of your #LinkedIn profile. Ā Well I for one are always interested in making #LinkedIn work better for me as and i love to share posts on my #SocialMedia page IT Personal Coach. After I did this I found out that I had been added to theĀ #list Ā SMExaminer/most-engaged-followers.Ā  Following on from that I was then added to the listĀ jrtaaffe/socialmedia-people.

My Twitter to be fair needs a bit of tweeking, but with

I’ve been added to quite a few lists and of course I have created some of my own which have worked out to be beneficial to share content to my followers.

Suddenly the Horizons were Limitless.

I originally wrote this blog five years ago, quite a few changes have occurred so just thought it was a good idea to update.

Started of as a Sole Trader/Founder of Ā Ivey Business Services in 1992, still operating the same. Became know as TheConnector – changed this to TheConnectorInt

Marketing is via Networking – Ā all about relationships as Rob Peter’s would say #RelationshipCapital. – the art of getting to know people and finding out what they need.Ā  They in turn maybe interested in what you have to offer or maybe interested to give you referrals or advocate you or even better collaborate with you.

Collaboration is great because Ā different people bring different skills to the table and so forming a team with everyone working towards the same purpose brings outstanding results.

I am delighted to be collaborating with Simon Barry from KiplingandKirbyVenturesĀ and also Rob Peters founder & CEO of StandardofTrust.comĀ 

I have always enjoyed Networking events and Simon needed to have a regular monthly meeting as an incubator for start-ups.
